It is my lucky week for quilt books. Look what arrived today!

My book came today! I'm so excited! I LOVE Bonnie Hunter's quilts, and I pre-ordered this book a while ago. I'm off to spend the next hour or so pouring over every quilt in this book!

No! It cannot be! A photo that isn't food?!? I pulled an all-nighter last night and never went to sleep just so that I could finish this little quilt. I absolutely <3 this little beauty!

And here is a rare glimpse of me in my all-nighter preparedness outfit of flannel pjs, fleece top, and the best slipper socks ever! Of course, the star of this photo is Madeline, the quilt. She was worth losing a night of sleep!

I let my quilt fabrics pile up after pre-washing. Pile up, and pile up, and now I have to pay the piper and iron it at last. That would be all 35 yards of it! Can you blame me for taking a little nip of amaretto? Cheers! Now let's get to that ironing!
